"first-hand understanding of an historic period in graphic design & creative application of that knowledge." With that being said my group chose Wes Wilson's "Captain Beefhart & His Magic Band,"1966. The piece is a combines psychedelic and art nouveau styles.
We appropriated the poster and did a Michael Jackson Thriller concert poster instead.
Done in Illustrator and Photoshop.
